A viral video on social media has stunned viewers, depicting a luxurious black Rolls-Royce Ghost stranded in the midst of a flooded Delhi street. The footage captures the car with its hazard lights blinking, contrasted against other vehicles navigating the waterlogged road effortlessly. The video was recorded by a driver in a Maruti Suzuki, adding to the spectacle online.

The caption on the video shared on Instagram reads, “No matter the price of the car, the whole point of having a car is to be able to drive it whenever you want. It’s sad to see a Rolls Royce Ghost breaking down on the waterlogged roads of Delhi. The sadder thing is how the infrastructure is in the capital of India.”

The video begins with a black Rolls-Royce Ghost stranded on a rain-soaked street in Delhi. As the footage unfolds, other vehicles navigate around it. Meanwhile, individuals whose two-wheelers malfunctioned are shown pulling them along the road by hand. The video was captured by a driver in a Maruti Suzuki vehicle.

The video, which has stunned many with the luxury car's performance, has also sparked humorous reactions. One user quipped, "Rolls-Royce got Ghosted," while another questioned, "What's the water-wading capacity for these luxury cars? When cheap cars have no issues with this water depth.''

Another user remarked, “That's watch ya get if you drive this kind of car in India during monsoon.'' A fourth wrote, ''The problem with luxury cars is the brakes will lock when u get Suck in water, it won't release until people technician comes.'' Another user commented, “'It's a shame the car couldn't cope with water while others pass by easily. I wonder what's the point of buying such an expensive car.''

The Rolls-Royce Ghost begins at ₹ 6.95 crore, with its top model reaching up to ₹ 7.95 crore.

Heavy rains in Delhi last week led to traffic jams and waterlogging in various areas, causing inconvenience to commuters. The city's infrastructure shortcomings were exposed as the traffic police dealt with numerous reports of waterlogging, congestion, and fallen trees.
