BJP leader Nitin Gadkari experienced a heartwarming surprise on Saturday (June 8) when his granddaughters visited him, bringing unexpected joy to his day. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the newly elected MP from Maharashtra's Nagpur shared a video capturing the moment his granddaughters surprised their 'Aaba' (grandfather in Marathi).

Significantly, the most touching part of the video was the pure bliss seen on Gadkari's face as he met the 'baccha party.' The veteran BJP leader posted the video with the caption, "Unexpected joy...granddaughters' visit brightened my day!".

Notably, Gadkari, who is known for showing immense love for his family, especially his grandchildren, was recently seen enjoying celebratory moments with them on June 4, post his election win.

After the Lok Sabha election results were announced, re-electing Nitin Gadkari for the third time from the Nagpur constituency with a significant victory, his entire family was seen celebrating the moment. His grandchildren were seen jumping on him and around him as they posed for the camera. A viral clip also showed his wife, Kanchan Gadkari, posing with him, creating a heartwarming scene.

Nagpur Elects Nitin Gadkari for the Third Consecutive Time

Meanwhile, it is pertinent to note that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on June 4 won the Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency for the third consecutive time, defeating his nearest Congress rival, Vikas Thakre, by a margin of 137,603 votes.

According to ECI data, the senior BJP leader polled 655,027 votes against 517,424 votes received by Congress' Vikas Thakre in 20 rounds of counting, while the BSP candidate, Yogesh Lanjewar, stood third with 19,242 votes.
