A wedding's got to be special, right? This is an occasion to remember when the bride and the groom declare their devotion to each other and begin a new life of sharing and caring. In one such instance, the groom made his wedding more special for the bride by giving her a heartwarming gift that moved her, and the ever-watchful social media users, to tears.
A video uploaded by the Good News Movement shows a lovely wedding, where the groom whispers something in his to-be wife's ear before they take the sacred vows. The bride looks over to the other side and spots her grandmother among the guests, cheerfully waving at her. The sight of her grandmom attending the wedding caused tears of joy for the soon-to-be wife.
It so happens that the bride's grandmother was ill, and so she did not expect her to make it to her special day. When the groom surprised her by bringing her grandmother to the wedding, the young bride could not help but become emotional and cry despite trying to hold back her tears.
"Bride is moved to tears when she spots her grandmother at her wedding. The bride did not think her grandmother was healthy enough to make it to her special day. When the groom surprised her with the news, she immediately shed tears of joy," wrote the Good News movement on Instagram.
As usual, the comment section was filled with heartful comments as netizens appeared to have shed some tears alongside the bride after watching the beautiful moment. "Here i am crying over strangers on the Internet again," wrote one individual. Another said, "She chose the right one. That’s very special and very sweet of him."
"Wow if there was ever a sign more clear on your wedding day you’re marrying the right one," wrote another netizen, while a user used the age-old excuse, "I'm not crying, you are." The video got over 1.7 million views and over 45,000 likes on Instagram.
