The Delhi government has taken a slew of steps to ensure women's safety. From the installation of CCTV cameras to the deployment of marshals in buses, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government has made comprehensive arrangements for women in the national capital.
"The closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras installed at all the railway stations, metro stations, bus terminals and the airport will be integrated at the commend centre for seamless surveillance. It will be a deterrence for criminals from acting smart and its awareness among the people, especially women, will ensure their safety," asserted the official.
