A 59-year-old COVID-19 patient, who was also detected with black, white and yellow fungus, has passed away here, the doctor treating him said on Saturday.
Doctors on Thursday revealed that the first-of-its-kind case of white fungus, which causes multiple perforations “throughout the intestine”, in a COVID-19 patient has been recorded in the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH) in New Delhi.
