Kerala weather: The IMD said Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur districts will receive heavy to very heavy rain on Tuesday.

The maximum temperatures were above normal by 4.5 degrees over most parts of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
The weather department has predicted clear sky for the day in the national capital.
Srinagar, the summer capital of J&K recorded minus 3.6, Pahalgam minus 11.8 and Gulmarg minus 10.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperatures.
Meanwhile, a cold wave or a severe cold wave-like condition is also expected in Delhi's neighbouring states like Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana till January 3, the weatherman said.
