Citing a study by the Central Road Research Institute, a source in the Delhi government said only 20 per cent commuters turn off the ignition at the traffic signal but the number had surged to 80 per cent during the campaign.
The basic premise of the campaign which seeks to risk the health of few individuals on the assumption of protecting the health of many is faulty and does not appear to have any parallel in any other civilised metropolitan city, the LG office sources said.

Delhi liquor policy: Saxena has already recommended a CBI probe into the alleged violations of rules and procedural lapses related to the Excise Policy 2021-22 of the Kejriwal government. The recommendation of CBI probe by the LG was based on a report of the Chief Secretary.
