Manipur violence: Supreme Court orders that statement of witnesses under 164 CrPC are to be recorded in the presence of local Magistrate in Manipur.
Nuh violence: Six people, including two home guards and a cleric, died in the communal clashes that erupted after VHP's Braj Mandal Yatra was stone pelted by a group of people in Nuh.

Bittu Bajrangi arrest: Bajrangi was arrested from his house in Parvartiya colony in Faridabad. A separate case has also been registered against Bittu Bajrangi after a complaint was filed by ASP Usha Kundu at Nuh Sadar police station.
Haryana violence The Haryana Government on Friday had extended the ban on mobile internet services till August 13 (Monday) in Haryana's Nuh district.
These new regulations will replace the Medical Council of India's Code of Medical Ethics 2002. This is for the first time when doctors will have the right of refusal of patient treatment to the unruly and violent patients. The move is aimed at discouraging violence against doctors.
The FIR was filed on August 5 when police alleged that the Assam Rifles obstructed their vehicles on the Kwakta Gothol road in the Bishnupur district.
Haryana: Earlier, Superintendent of Police Varun Singla and Deputy Commissioner Prashant Panwar were transferred away from Nuh.

Haryana violence: The attackers targeted shops belonging to members of a particular community at two places in Panipat, the police said.
The Haryana government on Saturday extended the suspension of mobile internet service in Nuh and Palwal districts till August 8, according to an official order. Suspension of SMS services in these two districts has been extended till 5 pm on August 7, it said.
Manipur fresh violence: A 45-year-old man was shot during the violence. He was admitted to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) with bullet wounds on his left thigh.
Nuh violence: Mobile internet and SMS services were suspended after clashes erupted in Nuh on July 31 over an attempt to stop a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession and spread to Gurugram and other districts of the state. Six people have died in the clashes.
The loot incident took place at the battalion headquarters of the 2nd India Reserve Battalion (IRB) located at Naranseina in Bishnupur district.
Manipur violence: The Indigenous Tribal Leaders’ Forum, an organisation of Kuki-Zomi community, also agreed to conditionally postpone burial for five days after requests from Home Minister Amit Shah. They said Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga also requested the same.
Nuh violence: Monu Manesar, who is on the run in a murder case, said he is being framed. His video went viral on social media ahead of VHP's procession which was attacked in Nuh.
