Vidya Sinha passed away on Thursday morning following heart and lung disorders. Her funeral was held in Mumbai today, which was attended by several celebrities.
Vidya Sinha was known for her roles in seventies middle-of-the-road hits such as "Rajnigandha", Chhoti Si Baat", and "Pati Patni Aur Woh".
Vidya Sinha was rushed to hospital on 8th August and it was found that she was suffering from lung and heart disorders.Her last notable role was in Salman Khan’s 2011 Eid release, Bodyguard. In recent times, she has been busy with television assignments. She was seen in shows such as Ekta Kapoor’s Kaavyanjali, besides Kulfi Kumarr Bajewala.
In the 1970s, Vidya Sinha had shot to fame with several hits such as “Pati, Patni Aur Woh”, “Choti Si Baat” and “Rajnigandha”. Thereafter she took a break for some years and recently Vidya appeared on television serials such as “Bhabhi”, “Bahu Rani” and “Zaara”
