The health ministry today informed that 110.23 cr vaccine doses have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
As part of the nationwide vaccination drive, Indian Govt has been supporting the states, UTs by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost.
As per the Health Ministry's statewise Covid vaccination data, a total of 1,01,759 doses of vaccines have been administered in the UT so far. It includes 55,144 shots as the first dose and 46,615 as the second dose.

A total of 1,06,14,40,335 vaccine doses have been administered to eligible beneficiaries so far.

The Pfizer vaccine shots could begin in early November — with the first children in line fully protected by Christmas — if regulators give the go-ahead.
India took 85 days to touch the 10-crore vaccination mark, 45 more days to cross the 20-crore mark and 29 more days to reach the 30-crore mark, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

As many as 82,229 doses of COVID vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours across the UT bringing the cumulative number of doses administered in the UT to 1,34,94,675, the official data said.
Over 8.43 cr balance and unutilised vaccine doses are still available with states and UTs to be administered, it said.
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted, "Congratulations to the nation, as we administer another 1 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India delivers a punch to Corona - Record of 1+ crore vaccines achieved for the 5th time."
The countrywide vaccination drive was rolled out on January 16 with healthcare workers (HCWs) getting inoculated in the first phase. The vaccination of frontline workers (FLWs) started from February 2.
The ministry said over 5.16 cr balance and unutilised vaccine doses are still available with the states and UTs to be administered.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, a staunch critic of Modi, tweeted: ”Looking forward to many more days of 2.1 crore vaccinations. This pace is what our country needs.”
Goa managed to vaccinate 17,000-odd people till 7 pm on Friday against a target of 25,000 doses to mark the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officials said.
The Covid-19 vaccination coverage crossed the 71 crore-landmark milestone in the country on Wednesday. With more than 73 lakh (73,80,510) doses administered till 7 pm on Wednesday, the cumulative number reached 71,52,54,153.
