Uttarakhand weather update: Due to heavy rainfall, the Rudraprayag Gaurikund National Highway 107 is blocked in the Doliya Devi (Phata) area. Efforts are underway to open the road.
A temporary bridge collapse near Gangotri left 30–40 pilgrims stranded and washed away two individuals due to a sudden surge in river water at Devgad. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued 16 pilgrims, with ongoing efforts to save the remaining.
