Last year, Ansals and former court staff Dinesh Chand Sharma and 2 others- PP Batra and Anoop Singh Karayat- were awarded 7-year jail term by a trial court and the sessions court had refused to suspend the sentence and release them on bail.
The court also awarded 7-year-jail term each to former court staff Dinesh Chand Sharma and two others -- P P Batra and Anoop Singh and slapped a fine of Rs 3 lakh each on them.
The case is related to the tampering with the evidence of the main case of the fire tragedy which had claimed 59 lives, in which Ansals were convicted and sentenced to two years jail term by the Supreme Court.
