The report came after she was shifted to the AIIMS in Delhi from the King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow where she was admitted after the July 28 truck-car collision that killed two of her aunts and left her lawyer fighting for life.
The Supreme Court directed on Monday that the Unnao rape survivor, who suffered critical injuries when her car was hit by a truck last week, be airlifted from Lucknow and brought to New Delhi for better treatment at the AIIMS. Minutes before the direction, the apex court had deferred the hearing on transfer of the woman and her injured lawyer, for further hearing on Friday as no one on behalf of their families appeared and sought the transfer.
Sacked BJP MLA and Unnao rape accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar alleged that a political conspiracy is being hatched against him. He was taken to Delhi from Sitapur District Jail on Sunday. Sengar and Shashi Singh will be produced in Delhi's Tis Hazari Court on Monday. Sengar is also an accused in the case of an accident involving the rape survivor.
The Unnao rape survivor, who is kept on a ventilator has developed pneumonia which is causing mild fever doctors treating her at the King George's Medical University hospital in Lucknow said on Saturday. The doctor also said her condition remains critical, a week after the deadly road accident.
Chief Minister Kamal Nath has asked the family of the Unnao rape survivor to settle down in Madhya Pradesh and has assured them full security. "The victim's family members who have decided to move out of Uttar Pradesh due to insecurity, I ask them to come and settle down in Madhya Pradesh and our government will provide them complete security," Kamal Nath said.

Even as the 'conspiracy' theory in the accident of the Unnao rape survivor spins into a major political controversy, Uttar Pradesh Police claims in hushed tones that it was a 'mere accident'. The state government which is in a defensive mode on the issue has already said that it is prepared to recommend a CBI inquiry into the accident in which one witness of the Unnao rape case was killed on Sunday.

Samajwadi Party has alleged that the accident was a well-planned conspiracy to end life of the teenage girl who has accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar of raping her in 2017.
