Members of Erdogan's ruling AKP Party rushed to attack opposition lawmaker Ahmed Sik after he called for his colleague Can Atalay's reinstatement in the Parliament and called the ruling party a "terrorist organisation". Atalay was imprisoned in 2018 for organising anti-government protests in 2013.
