As per the operating procedures, the area was cordoned off by Army personal and J&K Police and soon the specialist Bomb Disposal Squad sanitized the area around to avert any tragedy.
The NIA in its chargesheet claimed, "After forming the LeM, Malik aka Hasnain was further directed by commanders of the JeM that he has to commit terrorist activities in the (erstwhile) state of Jammu and Kashmir including in the Jammu region."
Those chargesheeted include self-styled chief commander of the LeM, Hidayat Ullah Malik, and a woman, Baseerat-ul-Ain, both residents of Shopian in south Kashmir, and Mustaq Alam and his brother Jawed Alam of Deobahuara-Chhapra in Bihar, an NIA spokesperson said.
The security operation was launched on a specific input by police regarding the presence of terrorists in the forest area of Shokbaba Sumlar-Aragam area of Bandipora.
A civilian identified as Javaid Ahmad Malik, a resident of Lurgam village in Tral, was fired upon by unidentified gunmen on Friday evening.

According to the details, the terrorists are reported to be hiding in the vicinity of the Kakori area of Lucknow.
