With the resumption of operations at the third terminal, Delhi Airport will be functional completely.
GoFirst, AirAsia India, Star Air and TruJet will resume all their domestic operations from Terminal 1 from October 20 midnight, the private airport operator said in a release.
Domestic flight operations resumed in West Bengal on May 28. New guidelines have been issued by CM Mamata Banerjee-led government for passengers.
Commercial passenger flights at Delhi airport will initially operate from Terminal 3 after the lockdown ends, said a senior official of its operator DIAL on Sunday, adding that entry gates, self check-in machines and check-in bays will be allocated to airlines to avoid overcrowding by air travellers.
A team of senior officials from the Madhya Pradesh government and the airport visited the newly built air cargo terminal at Raja Bhoj Airport on Friday.
At present, the Bengaluru-based airline, which has limited operations from the city, flies from the international terminal (T2) of the Mumbai airport.
