Nagapattinam/Karaikal: The annual 45-day ban on fishing in Nagapattinam and Karaikal coastal areas in Tamil Nadu commenced today.The Tamil Nadu and Puducherry governments have imposed the ban under the Deep sea Fishing Regulation Act, 2001.
