Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia pitched for a 30 per cent reduction in syllabus for all grades to make up for the loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and advocated reopening of schools with reasonable precautions.
Students from other boards who feel that a subject they studied has a similar syllabus to that of the NCERT and is not in the list accepted by the Delhi University can produce an equivalence certificate from their board, officials said Tuesday.
The chapters are -- Challenges to Democracy, Democracy and Diversity, Political Struggles and Movements, Forest and Wildlife and Water Resources.
While speaking at the 113th annual session of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rathore said India can be the world leader by 2025.
The Home Minister also said schools and health care centres in villages, to which the martyrs belong, should be named after them.
