Surjit Hans, the man who translated Shakespeare's works into Punjabi, dies at 89

The retired history professor, who lived with his journalist daughter Nanki Hans in Punjab's Mohali town, contributed his two decades of meticulous effort to translate all the works, including 38 plays, of the 16th century Bard of Avon into Punjabi.
