Being a non-UK national, Sunil Bharti Mittal will receive a KBE after his name after the knighthood conferred by King Charles III - one of the highest honours by a British monarch. Mittal said he was deeply humbled” by the recognition and committed to strengthen India-UK ties.
Sunil Mittal also said that the launch marks a very important day for India as well as for ISRO and NCIL who have established themselves as a serious significant player in the commercial space launch industry in the world.
