Ambris hit 19 fours and a six in his 126-ball 148 as Ireland's 327-5 was overhauled with 13 balls to spare.
Following the hit, the West Indies batsman faced two more balls before walking off and visibly in pain in the final day of the 2nd Test.
The 24-year-old has been called in the Windies squad as a replacement for Kyle Hope, the only change in the squad which defeated Zimbabwe 1-0 in the recently-concluded two-match Test series in Bulawayo.
