Northern Railways has decided to run special trains to UP and Bihar. In addition to the five trains started last week, here is a list of some more trains.
Indian Railways to run 16 special trains to Bihar to manage the heavy rush of passengers for Chhath Puja. Chhath Puja will be observed from November 18 to November 21.
Special trains are being arranged for migrants stuck in Gautam Buddh Nagar due to temporarily closure of industries, factories amid coronavirus outbreak. As per the instructions of the state government, special trains will be run for migrant labourers. The trains will be run from Dadri railway station and Dankaur Railway station.
IRCTC has started taking the destination address of all passengers who are booking tickets with effect from May 13 (Wednesday). Railways has said that this new addition of passengers information while booking tickets is being done in order to help it for contact tracing.
At the end of the third phase of lockdown, India has now started to slowly cradle towards normalcy and as part of a small step towards it, the Indian Railways on Tuesday restored the functioning of three more trains having their origin from the national capital.
