All roads in upper Shimla are blocked due to fresh snowfall in the city on Sunday night, bringing cheers to tourists, residents, and hoteliers.
The cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir's Katra on Sunday received the season's first snowfall, much to the cheer of tourists thronging the region.

An advisory issued by the local weather office said, "Scattered to fairly widespread precipitation is very likely to occur over J&K and Ladakh between November 14 to 15".
Jammu and Kashmir is expected to receive heavy snowfall in the next few days, as per the local weather office. Authorities have issued warnings for people living in higher reaches to avoid movement during this period as landslides can occur at such places.
Himachal Pradesh's tourist spot Lahaul-Spiti received fresh snowfall on November 02. Keylong area in Lahaul-Spiti was covered with 8 inches of white sheet.
