Harmeet Dhillon, a respected Indian-American lawyer, has been nominated by President-elect Donald Trump as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights. Known for her work on Big Tech censorship and election laws, Dhillon is the fourth Indian-origin individual chosen for Trump’s second-term cabinet.
Regarding the indictment of Indian national Nikhil Gupta in the foiled murder attempt on Pannun, Singh said that the incident is unlikely to leave an impact on India-US bilateral relations. He also stressed that only a small minority of Sikhs in India and the US support the Khalistan movement.
"The government of India needs to take this matter with the utmost seriousness. We are doing that, we are not looking to provoke or escalate," the Canadian PM told reporters on Tuesday.
