Karnataka: CM Siddaramaiah on Wednesday asserted that he has never indulged in "adjustment politics" throughout his political life.
With this, the Congress government is fulfilling one more of its five poll promises which were guaranteed ahead of the Assembly elections in May.

Noticing that the government will satisfy all the poll promises, Siddaramaiah expressed, implementation of Congress' five guarantees will cost Rs 59,000 crore a year to the exchequer, and there is a marginally higher weight on the administration this year.
The stage is set to roll out one of the five promises (Guarantees) made by Congress. Siddaramaiah will launch the Shakti scheme on June 11.
Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar has been given the responsibility of Bengaluru City.
