Sushant Death Case: Mumbai's Session Court has rejected actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik's bail plea. Also, pleas of all other accused in the drugs angle in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case have been rejected.
Rhea Chakraborty and brother Showik's bail pleas were heard in Mumbai's Sessions Court on Friday and the court rejected all six pleas. The actress's lawyer Satish Maneshinde had claimed that Rhea has ever consumed drugs and used to procure for late boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. Now, the actress will stay in Byculla jail till September 22.
Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik has made a big disclosure about drugs. He not only confessed to giving drugs to Rhea, but also said that after a meeting with Sushant he found out that he used to take drugs.
Showik has admitted that he used to ask for drugs. But he has put the blame on Sushant Singh Rajput and said that he is a college student and has never consumed drugs himself.
Actor Rhea Chakraborty reached the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday hours after the agency served summons to her to join the investigation into the drug-related angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
The 28-year-old arrived at the agency's office in the Ballard Estate area at 12 noon.She was escorted by police personnel. The agency has said it wants to question Rhea, the main accused in the death case, to take the probe forward in the case.

The NCB team has summoned Rhea Chakraborty for questioning. She has been asked to appear in the drugs-related case today.
The NCB has made several arrests in Sushant Singh Rajput case over the drugs connection. It is believed that Rhea Chakraborty may also be questioned soon.
The NCB arrested Dipesh Sawant on Saturday evening following revelations made by Showik Chakraborty, the brother of Sushant Sing Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and actor's house manager Samuel Miranda, who were arrested on Friday night. Earlier in the day, the NCB got custody of Showik and Miranda for four days, till September 9.

The NCB may send summon to Rhea Chakraborty after taking custody of Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. Rhea will have to appear for questioning by the agency.
NCB on Saturday told the court that Showik needs to be confronted with Sushant Singh Rajput's personal staff, Dipesh Sawant, and Rhea Chakraborty--the main accused in the actor's death case.
Hinting at summons to or even the possible arrest of Sushant Singh Rajput's ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, the NCB remand plea - seeking Showik's custody for five days' interrogation - says that he would have to be confronted with his sister (Rhea) and another person Dipesh Sawant.
Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Zaid and Abdul have been taken to Mumbai's Esplanade Court after undergoing medical tests.
