Olympian Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar then clinched the Junior Men’s 50M Rifle 3 Positions gold to make it a clean sweep for India in the two medal events.
India swept the 10M Air Pistol medal events, including the Mixed, Women’s and Men’s Team competitions as well the 10M Air Rifle Men’s Team gold, to end the day with six gold, six silver and two bronze.
Manu and Sarabjot led an India 1-2 in the Air Pistol Mixed team competition where they fought off the challenge of the second Indian pair of Shikha Narwal and Naveen 16-12 in the gold medal match.
India were placed third in the medals tally with 11 gold, nine silver and seven bronze medals for a total of 27, making this their best performance in the showpiece.
