Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Admi Party stated that its MLAs will organise bhandara as well as Shobha yatra in the national capital on January 22. This comes after the party organised a three-day Ramlila event at Pearey Lal Bhawan.

Hanuman Jayanti 2023: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has decided to conduct 500 Hanuman Jayanti programmes across West Bengal but no weapons would be carried in the processions.
On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Vishva Hindu Parishad has given a call to take out Shobha Yatra in Delhi's Jahangirpuri. VHP has sought permission from Delhi Police to take out Shobha Yatra, but police has not given permission till now.

According to FIR, the alleged main conspirator behind the Saturday Jahangirpuri clash had an argument with participants of the Hanuman Jayanti procession that escalated and led to stone pelting.
Producing all the accused in Jahangirpuri clashes in the court, the Delhi Police informed it that the two prime accused, Ansar and Aslam, on April 15, had prior information that a procession on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti will be taken out in the area, therefore, they planned the conspiracy accoridingly.
Violence broke out during a Hanuman Jayanti procession in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri area on Saturday, leaving several police personnel injured. There was stone-pelting and some vehicles were also torched, police said.
