During his 78th Independence Day address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed the need to publicise punishments for crimes against women to create a deterrent effect. He emphasised the importance of swift action and accountability in addressing such crimes.
PM Modi participated in the Sashakt Nari – Viksit Bharat programme, witnessing agricultural drone demonstrations by Namo Drone Didis at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi.
Scheduled for 4:30 pm at Bhari, the program will witness the release of benefits under the PM KISAN scheme, inauguration of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya statue, and distribution of Ayushman cards.
