When questioned about the reports of her party's merger, Sule asserted that her faction would not merge with any other political party. She emphasized that they would participate in the upcoming elections as part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).

Addressing an event in Pune, Pawar claimed that a misuse of power has been done against anyone who opposes the ruling BJP.
In a setback to Sharad Pawar, the EC recognised the camp led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar as the real NCP and also allotted the party name and symbol to it.
Maharashtra NCP president (Sharad Pawar group) Jayant Patil said the Supreme Court is the "last hope" for them and they are expecting a stay on the ECI ruling. He said the NCP was founded by Sharad Pawar who developed it from the grassroots.
The commission said there were serious inconsistencies in terms of time-lines in the claim of the Sharad Pawar group on organisational majority, which resulted in unreliability of their claim.
"The SC on Monday said it cannot allow the murder of democracy regarding the Chandigarh mayoral election. Despite that the ECI today gave a similar decision regarding the party name and its symbol. It is highly unfortunate," said Anil Deshmukh.
