Bengaluru Commissioner of Police Kamal Pant on Wednesday announced that section 144 has been imposed in areas under Bengaluru 's DJ Halli and KG Halli police station limits ahead of the 74th Independence day.
Following Bengaluru violence, personnel of Rapid Action Force (RAF) and local police conducted flag-march in JC Nagar area on August 14. Section 144 has been imposed in the area until 6am on August 15.
The Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City, Kamal Pant informed that at three people have died in the violence that broke out last night over an allegedly inciting social media post.
