The missing man identified as Laishram Kamalbabu Singh left his home on Monday afternoon. After he did not return, his family reached out to authorities and subsequently a search operation was launched. Singh used to work as a supervisor for a contractor working in the Leimakhong Military Station.
After the Coast Guard received information, it dispatched ICG Sarang and Amogh along with ICG Dornier aircraft to conduct an air-sea search and rescue operations.
