Discouraging words such as "I have to say you are a terrible player" can be disturbing for people even when uttered by a robot, according to a study presented here.
The study, published on Thursday in the journal Nature, reveals the structure of cytochrome b6f -- the protein complex that significantly influences plant growth via photosynthesis.
"We defined the critical criteria where we can drive a flame to self-generate its own turbulence, spontaneously accelerate, and transition into detonation," said Kareem Ahmed, an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida in the US.
The researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the US said that while most methods of removing carbon dioxide from a stream of gas required higher concentrations -- such as those found in the flue emissions from fossil fuel-based power plants -- the new method could suck out the gas even when it was present in very low concentrations.

Researchers from Rice University in the US adapted laser-induced graphene (LIG) into small, metal-free devices that generate electricity.
The Moon was formed when Earth was hit by a body about the size of Mars, also called Theia. The study showed that Theia comes from the outer solar system, and it delivered large quantities of water to Earth.
The Earth is the only terrestrial planet with a large amount of water and a relatively large moon, which stabilises the Earth's axis.
