A bench of Justices Bela M Trivedi and SC Sharma granted relief to former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain after noting that he suffered a fracture in the leg on December 9.
The court adjourned the matter with the direction that interim bail granted to Jain will continue till the next date of the hearing. Earlier the matter was partly heard by a two-judge bench of justices AS Bopanna and Bela M Trivedi.
Satyendar Jain admitted: This is the second time in a week that he fell in the bathroom and suffered a spinal injury and was admitted to the hospital.
Earlier on Friday, the Central Bureau of Investigation summoned Kejriwal in connection with the excise policy scam case on April 16.
Earlier this week, a Tihar jail superintendent was suspended for alleged involvement in providing special treatment to Jain in the prison. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had claimed in a court here that Jain was getting special treatment inside Tihar Jail.
Satyendar Jain money laundering case: ED had arrested Satyendar Jain and two others in a money laundering case based on a CBI FIR lodged against the AAP leader in 2017 under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Jain, a minister without a portfolio in the Kejriwal government, is being probed by the agency under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on charges of alleged hawala dealings.
