The Income Tax sleuths on Friday raided the premises of Veda Nilayam, the Poes Garden, the Chennai residence of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
According to reports, they had also searched an office of Jaya TV office adjacent to Jayalalithaa's residence, apart from the channel's main office at Ekkaduthangal.
On Thursday, a team of around 1,800 IT officials knocked at the doors of 187 premises -- residences and offices and farmhouses -- to carry out one of the biggest income tax searches on Sasikala's kin and associates.

The searches are being conducted in connection with unexplained routing of cash post-demonetisation through shell companies allegedly connected to Sasikala and her nephew TTV Dinakaran.
The raid may enter third day as the searches are continuing in several premises. For the second consecutive day on Friday, Income Tax (I-T) officials continued their massive raids at around 140 premises.
Ten groups of IT officials were involved in the "search exercise taking place across Tamil Nadu, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi and other places" which began at 6 am.
Sasikala, 60, was granted a five-day parole on October 6, and had to return to the prison by October 12 evening, as directed by the jail authorities.
Sasikala, a close aide of former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa, has been directed by the authorities to report to the Bengaluru jail on October 12 by 6 pm.
Sasikala's five-day parole, for visiting her husband in a hospital here, ended today and she will return to Parappana Agrahara central jail in Bengaluru today.
Sasikala's husband M Natarajan had recently undergone liver and kidney transplant from a brain-dead donor. He was admitted to hospital last month after a multiple organ failure.

An AIDMK delegation met the Commission and countered the claims of the rebel camp led by Sasikala and her nephew TTV Dhinakaran that the resolutions were invalid.
