Sambhal news: Accused identified as Shoaib, Sujauddin, Rahat, Mohd Azam, Azharuddin, Javed and Mustafa were arrested on Tuesday. Violence in Sambhal erupted during the second survey of the Shahi Jama Masjid on November 24 that left four people dead.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav condemned the ongoing excavations in Sambhal and said that the ruling BJP government will one day dig up their own administration if they continue to keep searching like this.
The letters received by the police detailed about people who had come to Sambhal from Bulandshahr, Rampur, Amroha, Moradabad and Hapur. The police said that they have launched a probe based on the information in the letters.
