After the dust-biting debacle in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the Om Prakash Rajbhar-led Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) is likely to return to the fold of the ruling BJP-led alliance in the state, sources said.

Among the ministers who lost is outgoing deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya who lost to the Samajwadi Party's Pallavi Patel by 7,337 votes in the Sirathu seat.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday extended his gratitude to the people of Uttar Pradesh and said that his party showed that seats of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) can be decreased. Akhilesh Yadav is leading from Karhal in UP. Also, in UP Samajwadi Party is leading on 37 seats while BJP is leading on 100 seats.
Assembly election in Sultanpur was held in the fifth phase on February 27. According to previous election results, BJP may have an edge over SP as the saffron party has won this seat 4 times while Samajwadi Party won it 3 times.
Gonda Election Result 2022: BJP's Prateek Bhushan Singh has won the election against SP's Suraj Singh with a margin of over 6600 votes.
