Sam Pitroda apologises, insists his comments on 1984 riots were only about moving on
May 11, 2019 0:00 ISTCongress leader Sam Pitroda has apologised for his recent remarks about 1984 anti-Sikh riots and said that his "misrepresented" remarks were intended just to be about "moving on". In view of Pitroda's earlier statement, Congress party had issued warning to leaders to be "careful and "sensitive" in their statements. It distanced itself from Pitroda's earlier statement that had created controversy.
