Delhi: 5 killed after truck hits vehicle carrying Kanwariyas, accused driver arrested

Delhi accident: According to the information received, the gruesome accident took place on Alipur road when a vehicle carrying Kanwariyas allegedly collided with another vehicle.
Authority took action against traffic police officials who were deployed at the checkpoints near the accident spot in Shamli.
Uttar Pradesh: At least nine people were killed and six others were reported injured as a tanker ran over an overloaded tempo in Pratapgarh.
The accident took place on Ramtek-Bhandara road under Aroli police station limits, which is located 60 km from Nagpur.

The police said that 19 people were travelling in two autos when the accident happened.

Uttarakhand car accident: Police and SDRF team are at the accident spot, said Nilesh Bharne, IG Kumaon.
Circle Inspector Rajani Kumar, said, "The incident happened in early morning. A car rammed into the carrier vehicle and it led to the death of four people along with the car driver. We have shifted the deceased to Mandapeta area hospital for postmortem."
Assam road accident: The injured were rushed to the hospital where one of them succumbed to her injuries while the other was battling for his life, police said.
The victim, who has been identified as Roli Ram Lavkush Mishra, was crossing the Shilphata area at 8 pm when a speeding truck ran her over, according to the police.
Karnataka accident: The deceased were pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh. At about 2 am the driver lost control over the vehicle and hit a stationary truck at Padichakra village in Yadgir district.
Mandi bus accident: The accident left several passengers including driver and conductor of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus injured, police said.
