Kolkata Police ASI Arup Dutta was questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday as he is the close aide of prime accused Sanjor Roy.
The body of the postgraduate trainee with severe injury marks was found inside the seminar hall of the hospital's chest department on August 9. A civic volunteer was arrested by the Kolkata Police in connection with the case the next day.
The CBI had earlier obtained permission from a local court to conduct a polygraph test on Sanjay Roy, the civic volunteer who has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the case.
