According to reports, the accident took place after a dumper which was en-route from Sawalakote to Tanger rolled over and claimed three lives.
Ramban fire: Police said that a woman identified as Najma Begum, and her two minor daughters Iqra and Asma died on the spot in a devastating fire incident in Bingara village of Ramban district while her husband Ibrahim and one Mirja Begum were injured.
Ramban terrorist hideout: Besides the 52 mm mortar bomb, the search parties recovered four detonators, cordtex wire, 5 magazines of AK assault rifle, 2 pistol magazines, LMG ammunition belt box, 292 rounds of assorted ammunition and several other related items, the police official said.
J&K: According to an official, Amiruddin Khan was arrested by a police party from Ramban along Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
State-owned NHAI has already initiated process to handle such emergency situation and also taking all possible measures to avoid such incidents in future, said an official statement on May 22.
Two people, Gopal Sharma (35) of Udhampur and Mohammad Aquib (16) of Mangit-Khari, were injured in the incident. They were shifted to hospital where their condition is stated to be stable, police said.
