Honeypreet has been charged with “treason” and hatching conspiracy to free Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh from custody after he was convicted last Friday for raping two of his female disciples.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was on Monday sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment following his conviction in two rape cases.
Following the attack, curfew was reimposed in Sirsa, reported ANI. Earlier today, curfew was relaxed for five hours in and around the headquarters of Dera Sacha Sauda in Sirsa, two days after restrictions were imposed on August 24
Sirsa is the headquarters of Dera Sacha Sauda of which Ram Rahim, 50, is its chief.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim was given “VIP treatment” throughout his journey from the CBI court to Rohtak and it is reportedly continuing even inside the jail.
According to Northern Railway, the violence that erupted after the conviction of the Dera chief has affected the running of 485 trains out of which 445 trains have been cancelled.
