A Delhi court on Wednesday asked the CBI as to why there no psychological and lie detector test conducted on its former special director Rakesh Asthana, who was recently given a clean chit in a bribery case.

A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi heard the response of Verma given in a sealed cover on the findings of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) in the preliminary inquiry against him. The court fixed the next hearing on Dec 5.
