While both the BJP and the Congress have fielded more doctors for this election than the last polls in 2013, leaders say there were several more who were hopeful to secure tickets but lagged behind in the race.
The prime minister is likely to hold rallies in Alwar, Bhilwara, Beneshwar Dham on November 25, he said. Modi is also expected to hold a public meeting in Kota on November 26.
The rally in Alwar, which has 11 Assembly constituencies, will be the first major poll-related meeting in the state after the declaration of the names of candidates for the December 7 elections.
Just as the election is approaching, it is clear that certain issues may make or break the chances of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to retain power in the state.
