Monsoon update: Intense spells of rain pummeled Bhubaneswar, Puri and several other parts of Odisha, leading to waterlogging in low-lying areas and traffic congestion.
Odisha rain news: The state has been receiving heavy rainfall for the past few days which in turn led to several instances of waterlogging and traffic congestion across the state.
Kerala weather update: One out of the three women gave birth to a baby girl in the forest as she refused to go to the hospital. The new mother and the baby are safe. The other two expecting mothers are six and seven months pregnant.

Monsoon updates: Maharashtra's Palgarh district saw heavy rains, which led to citizens having no access to ambulances and other services. Visuals accessed by India TV showed Maharashtrians braving the pouring rain and crossing a river by foot for emergency services.
Monsoon Update: After a dry spell in June, heavy rainfall in most parts of Maharashtra in July has more than doubled the collective water stock in dams across the state within a span of a fortnight.
