Punjab: A housing colony in Dera Bassi of Punjab's Mohali district was seen submerged in water as incessant rain led to a flood-like situation in the area.

Maharashtra: IMD on Sunday issued orange and yellow alerts for parts of Maharashtra. Mumbai on Saturday witnessed a fresh spell of rain.
The much-needed rain will bring some relief to the residents of the national capital from the scorching heat.
Delhi: IMD on Monday predicted that heatwave conditions are unlikely to return to the capital till June 4. However, the weather turned pleasant today due to a fresh spell of rain.
Tamil Nadu rains: The RMC in a statement said that heavy rains are expected in The Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Tiruppur, Tenkasi, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Tiruppatur,Erode, Salem, Namakkal and Karur districts of the state.
The national capital also witnessed cloudy skies and strong winds.
Delhi weather update: "The maximum temperature will continue to rise over the next few days amid clear skies and it is predicted to hit the 42-degrees Celsius mark by May 12-13. However, a heatwave is unlikely till May 16-17," IMD official said.
