The defence ministry said the documents presented by the petitioners are failing to bring out how the issues were addressed and resolved and necessary approvals of the competent authorities taken.
These petitions also include the joint plea filed by former Union Ministers Yashwant Sinha and Arun Shourie along with activist lawyer Prashant Bhushan.
A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had sought information from the Centre on the agreement on October 10, without divulging the technical details regarding the price of the Rafale jets.
