Just as Priyanka Chaturvedi made an exit from Congress over reinstatement of party workers who had misbehaved with her, the grand-old party conceded that it was a reflection on the leadership.

I consider myself blessed with this immense outpouring of support. Thank you to all who have been a part of this journey."
According to sources, she has sent her resignation letter to Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

Smriti Irani had, on Thursday, submitted to the Election Commission of India that she did not complete her graduation from the University of Delhi. Whereas in her affidavit for 2014 Lok Sabha polls, she had reportedly said she graduated from the university in 1994.
"Opposition is ready to collect the votes of the people and we will be elected to power in Lok Sabha Elections 2019," Priyanka Gandhi assured the audience at India TV's Chunav Manch.
Replying to a query, Chaturvedi said, "I don't think the opposition unity is breaking in any way."
Chaturvedi demanded an explanation on why an extra amount of Rs. 41,205 crore of the public money is being paid for the jets. She claimed that by announcing the deal in 2015, Modi had violated the mandatory "Defence Procurement Procedure".
