The exact reason for the crash is yet to be ascertained but a winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service in Reno for large swaths of Nevada, including parts of Lyon County.
The major revelation came nearly three weeks after a flight, ATR-72, crashed in Nepal's resort city of Pokhara, resulting in the killing of all 72 people, including crew members on board.
