Following a tragic plane crash in Sao Paulo that claimed 61 lives, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva declared a three-day state of mourning, urging the nation to honour the victims.
The ATR-72 plane operated by airline Voepass Linhas Areas was en route from Cascavel to Guarulhos, in Sao Paulo. Video shared on social media showed what appeared to be the plane plunging down into a cluster of trees.
